A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Altamont address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
We built our Altamont branch after hearing the same complaint over and over from Altamont, IL property owners — the "24/7" number that never actually answers. Every technician on our Altamont roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Water Damage Repair in Altamont isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and Altamont, IL licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Altamont, IL so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Talk to a Altamont property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Altamont call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Altamont started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Altamont line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
We size the Altamont response to the actual damage — a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Altamont property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Altamont, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Altamont properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Altamont get handled under strict Category 3 protocol: containment, PPE, antimicrobial application, and documented disposal of contaminated materials.
On top of standard drying, our Altamont crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
Every Altamont estimate is written and explained before work begins — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Altamont, IL, most Altamont calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
We don't call a job finished until the moisture meter agrees, and if it doesn't, we return at no additional cost.
Our Altamont team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
Our nearest available Altamont crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount extraction gear on board.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
Every Altamont job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Altamont paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.
